05 May Ferretti Group Launches their first Wally 101
The combination of performance and luxury have never been more evident than with the Wally 101 Sailing Superyacht. Last month the Ferretti Group announced the sale of the 48th Wally sailing superyacht, the first since the Ferretti Group’s acquisition of Wally. Set for delivery in the spring of 2023 to a loyal Wally client, the new Wally 101 will, like with their previous sailing yachts, be used for family cruising and racing in various regattas. The 101 foot custom carbon fibre sailing yacht has 3 cabins, each with an ensuite with the owners cabin additionally having its own tv room. There is also a large dining area capable of sitting up to 12 people and crew accommodations for four with two cabins each with their own ensuite. With the amidship cockpit design, the deck design features table seating for eight with a sunbathing area aft for ultimate relaxation. Weighing in at under 57 tons due to the inclusion of the latest carbon fibre technology gives the Wally 101 the capability of easily reaching 18-20 knots with just the main and jib sail and is designed to sail easy with Wally designed push button sail handling system that allows sailing these larger yachts with a reduced crew.
