Riva opens new exhibition at the Lake Como International Museum of Boats

In October, Riva opened a new 300-square-meter exhibition room at the MBL Lake Como International Museum of Vintage Boats, dedicated to the prestigious boats built on Lake Iseo.

The room, designed by the collaboration of Riva and architect Paolo Albano take visitors from the 1930’s to the period epitomised by “La Dolce Vita”, when Aquarama’s stylish and unmistakable line brought Italian style to the forefront of the yachting industry.  As a tribute to Serafino Riva and his son Carlo Riva, the room features “seven jewels” from the Sarnico yard including Halu, a Riva from the  30’s when Serafino was the driving force behind the shipyard, two Riva Series R models, a very rare Riva racer yacht fitted with Guzzi engines and a Riva Florida uniquely outfitted with Scottish Madras upholstery.

The museums bookshop also now showcases the refined Riva brand, with products ranging from clothing, unique accessories and original collectibles.
