11 May Wally represented well in the magnificent return to Maxi racing in Portofino
Last week, all eyes in the sailing world were on Portofino in the Italian Riviera where the Regate di Primavera – Splendido Mare Cup marked the return of Maxi racing in the Mediterranean. Seas ran quite high at times, while the winds varied from flat calm to enormous gusts and back again. As Wally’s VIP guests enjoyed the show from both 43 and 48 Wally Tenders serving as courtesy vessels, they watched as Wally was well represented in this years event. The 24 meter Kauris ll and Ryokan 2, were never far off the pace providing a spectacular finish passing under the lighthouse at Portofino. With 5 more Maxi races upcoming between the first of June and the first week of October, Wally and their dealers are proud to support Wally owners as Maxi races are back in full swing after a year hiatus due to the Covid 19 global pandemic. We are looking forward now to the Loro Piana Super Yacht Regatta in Porto Cervo, June 1-5 for another great race as participating Wally owners showcase Wally Sailing Yachts exquisite combination of luxury and performance.
