Navetta 30

The Art of Traveling by Custom Line

Honored maritime traditions, natural materials, fine craftsmanship, and the power of light come together in the form of a new state-of-the-art superyacht for sale, the Custom Line Navetta 30. Launched in October 2020  Custom Line Navetta 30 writes a new chapter in the shipyard’s history; a romantic vessel, elegant, and full of charm, she makes a bold design statement.

With a length of 93 ft and a beam of 24 ft,  Custom Line Navetta 30 is a product of collaboration between the Product Strategy Department led by Mr. Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. This superyacht is the first project featuring exteriors designed by Filippo Salvetti and interiors by the architecture and design firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The influence of these acclaimed professionals is obvious in every stylistic element,  from the choice of natural materials such as leather, wood, and rope, to an unprecedented celebration of light and references to the sea as a source of inspiration — all against a clear and liner exterior design.

A New Icon In the Sea

The constant references to seafaring tradition are also encountered in the rounded lines and curves of the interior spaces, furniture, and window frames, combined with the application of wholesome details like solid wood, leather, and teak. The extensive use of blue color in the walls and finishes further enhances the continuity between the interior and the exterior of the vessel, resulting in an uninterrupted experience of life by the sea.

The design gives an innovative twist to the brand’s heritage values of seaworthiness, comfort, safety, and customization, making it instinctively recognizable while retaining a sense of formal purity.

The exteriors of Custom Line Navetta 30 stands out for her classic, perfectly poised silhouette. The lines stretch out horizontally in ways that the vertical connections among the three decks almost go unnoticed. The superyacht boasts a dynamic personality expressed by firm, sweeping lines, with volumes, performance, and comfort usually found in much larger models.

Large windows, decks with over two meters of headroom, and palatial areas in the stern and bow immediately bear the sense of space. Maintaining seamless continuity of finishes and furnishings, the vessel’s exteriors are designed for socializing and maximum relaxation, adding to the convivial and private spaces on board, providing an unprecedented living experience onboard.

During the interior design process, a special focus was placed on the use of space aiming to optimize the yacht’s volumes and enhance the functional value of the entire surface area available. All the furniture and furnishings are custom-made using sophisticated handcrafting and cabinetmaking techniques, paired with textures that create a fresh and youthful mood.

Special attention has been given to the lighting design which becomes an integral part of the vessel design itself, with illuminated details that establish a sense of balance and a fluid relationship with the exteriors. Navetta 30 is laid out over three decks, and over 3,445 square ft of space,  which can accommodate 10 guests in five cabins, with a master stateroom on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck.

MAIN DECK

The characteristic feature of the main deck is total integration between indoor and outdoor spaces. The 366-square-feet cockpit can be used as both a dining and living area and features a big convertible sofa designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel exclusively for this yacht.

A sliding glass door leads to the living room on the main deck. Expansive spaces, interior headroom of over 6.5 feet, and two big full-size side windows give a perception of fluidity and expansive volumes, creating a sense of direct and seamless contact with the water.

Moving along the deck towards the central lobby, an all-teak staircase connects the main deck with the lower and upper decks.

On the starboard side, a day toilette precedes the exclusive owner’s suite. This spacious 377-square feet area is designed to offer the owner a private sanctuary to relax and indulge in 360 sea views. The owner’s bathroom has twin basins positioned centrally, with the toilet on the left and a big shower on the right. The special Microframa mosaic by Micromosaico, created exclusively for this project, enhances the setting, turning it into an oasis of leisure and wellbeing.

The fully equipped kitchen by Ernestomeda is on the left-hand side of the deck, which also provides access to the crew quarters on the lower deck. Crew and guest flows are designed intelligently to ensure the latter maximum privacy while on board.

LOWER DECK

The lower deck comprises four guest cabins, each with its own private bathroom. The colors and patterns reflect the approach used on the main deck, reprising once again the “circle” concept, which is captured in the shapes of the furniture, the finishes, and the solid wood window frames.

The dedicated crew quarters in the bow consist of a captain’s cabin and two double crew cabins, all with bathrooms, comfortably accommodating a crew of five.

In the stern, aft of the engine room, the garage can fit a Williams SportJet 435 tender and a jet ski and is equipped with an advanced version of Ferretti Group’s patented DMT (Dual Mode Transom), offering not only the traditional double door movement, but also an additional feature that keeps the garage completely dry when closed, and acts as a ramp when open making it easier to launch and haul out the tender. The beach area is a particularly generous one, for a boat of this length.

UPPER DECK

The 387-square-feet upper deck consists of a big exterior lounge and an interconnected interior saloon for a unique indoor-outdoor experience. The outdoor dining area, with a large, full-beam sofa also designed exclusively by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and a dining table seating up to 10, provides an alfresco space for memorable convivial moments.

The development exterior decks, particularly the upper deck and its shaded area, give the settings a peaceful feeling of consistency, by applying the same mood board, so that all is perceived as one big space.

The interior sky lounge is a 247-square-feet private saloon, with extensive glazed surfaces, providing guests with impeccable sea views. The freestanding furniture – sofas, poufs, stools, and chaise longues – adds to the original maritime mood, creating a powerful connection with life on board.  Neutral backgrounds and richly tactile and visual textures put front and center the natural light that floods into every setting.

The sweeping exterior spiral stairway connecting the upper deck with the sundeck sums up the style of this yacht, in which modern materials, like exposed carbon fibre, alternate with more traditional ones like steel, teak, and finely braided rope. The result is a sense of absolute harmony between the finishes of the furnishings and all the design solutions applied to this timeless superyacht.

The big side walkways provide direct access to the bow area, where a  344-square-feet Sunset Lounge offers an oasis of tranquillity that can be adjusted according to the owner’s needs, with custom-made freestanding furniture by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

SUNDECK

The sundeck comprises two areas: a lounge, featuring a large custom-made sofa, and a bar with seats looking out to sea. Built to cater to shared experiences in the open air and as a place for guests to enjoy and have fun, the deck can be personalized with freestanding furniture that enhances the experience of socializing at the sea.

The entire area can be sheltered from the sun by a bimini top.

SUPERIOR NAVAL  TECHNOLOGY

Ideal to sail longer distances with low fuel consumption and enjoy best in class performance levels, Custom Line Navetta 30 is powered by two MAN i-6 engines rated 800 mhp each. She is also designed to use an optional plug-in hybrid propulsion system to minimize CO2 and NOX emissions.

There are four engine options available to the owner:

  • 2 MAN i6 engines rated 800 mhp (standard option)
  • 2 MAN V8 engines rated 1,000 mhp
  • 2 CAT C18 engines rated 1,150 mhp
  • 2 MAN V8 engines rated 1,200 mhp

With the MAN V8 engines rated 1000 mhp fitted to the first unit, the superyacht has a transatlantic range of about 2,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. The last two options empower the yacht with a top speed of 15 knots (all preliminary data).

A new level of efficiency is achieved through a completely new hull geometry design, developed by the Ferretti Group Engineering department using CFD techniques with tapered stern sections. To guarantee maximum comfort at anchor, the new Custom Line Navetta 30 can optionally be fitted with zero speed function stabilizer fins and a Seakeeper.

Comfort at anchor and during navigation has also reached new heights, thanks to a new damping coupling on the propulsion line and to the evolution of the acoustic insulation.

The raised helm station on the upper deck is equipped with the LOOP system by Naviop-Simrad, which integrates the management of propulsion, navigation, and monitoring functions in a single advanced user-friendly interface, consisting of six 24-inch touch screen monitors. Alternatively, an option with six 16-inch monitors is also available.

Custom Line puts a great emphasis on safety and comfort, and the new Navetta 30 is classified in CE category Class A, offering volumes never achieved before in this category, measured to have an equivalent value close to 200 GT.
